Back to shopThis qualification reflects the role of a new worker wanting to become an Allied Health Assistant and gain entry to the aged care, disability and other health sectors. They may provide assistance, under the delegation and supervision of Allied Health Professionals (AHP).
Supervision may be direct, indirect or remote, according to the individual Allied Health Assistant’s scope of practice and experience.
To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of clinical placement as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.
No occupational licensing, certification or specific legislative requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
There are certain prerequisites which must be satisfied before enrolment in this course:
o Applicants will be required to complete an ACSF language, literacy and numeracy (LLN)assessment

Unique Student Identifier (USI)
A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is required for Participants undertaking nationally recognized training (qualifications, accredited courses, skill sets and units of competency) unless exempt.
This includes international Participants studying in Australia. If you don't have a USI you will not receive your qualification or statement of attainment.
